The conference is sponsored by the NCA College for European Integration.

 SUBJECT  n n

We all need a home - a piece of architecture, a visible sign.

The conference approaches homes for persons with mental disorders from an architectural view.

We're going to summarize opinions of different professinons with the help of several invited experts from all over Europe. We look for possible answers to the question: how it is possible to represent the qualitative and quantitative factors of a liveable home.

We try to find where we came from, where we are and what steps follows to ensure new homes to have a higher quality.  We try to summarize those methods that could help this goal - keeping in mind that these homes are not only "buildings" but homes for a group of persons a small community. The quality of the home is quality of life assuring basic human rights.

We'll concentrate on special methods indicating the level of independence of residents and the quality of services to see the trends of development.
